CHII & TAKU Reading to children Page 3

"And that was how she became one of the members of our volunteer group.
She is so enthusiastic that her readings are very popular with the children. Indeed, we think she has more things to teach us than we have to teach her.
"I see" said Taku.
The volunteer boy continued, smiling.
That's why we help her with what we can. For example, moving her from the wheelchair to inside the room. The children are very natural with her. She brings down books that they cannot reach, and they pick up things that she perhaps drops. I think that, to be a volunteer is to help each otht09.jpger when somebody is in need. That's the reason why the grownups and children here work hard to do what they can to make things better.
Again, Taku looked at Chii, who was reading with all her effort.
She finished reading after a short time and was taken out of the room by the boy volunteer. At the entrance, Taku had a hand on the folded wheelchair. When Chii smiled to him, he opened the wheelchair at once.
"Thank you, Taku" said Chii, smiling with happiness.
"It's my pleasure" he said, full of energy. Unlike the time they left Chii's house, now he was very sure of himself.
