About Chii

Chii is a girl in the fifth grade. She uses a wheelchair.
Chii was leaving for the library with her mother. She reads books to small children as a volunteer.
Then her cousin, Taku, from a nearby city, appeared.
"Chii, are you working as a volunteer? That's great! Maybe I can push the wheelchair for you."
"Thank you, Taku."
Her mother agreed and the two decided to go to the library together.
Chii was a little worried, but Taku was enthusiastic.
When they went out the entrance, Chii's mother gave her some money and a list.
"Be careful, and stop at the store on your way back."
"Oh, Chii, do you even go shopping by yourself?"
Taku was a little surprised.
They were very anxious when they went out. It was the first time for Taku to push a wheelchair.
Actually Chii thought it would be safer to go with her mother, but she made up her mind and said cheerfully,
"Let's go!"
