affiliations and facilitating study and research exchanges.

Three international staff serve an integral role as language
and cultural advisors to the Hokkaido Government and the
International Exchanges group manages the Hokkaido
branch of the JET Programme. The entire division is
dedicated to promoting international understanding and
cooperation.
